Cobra Biologics

Clean Room Construction (CRC) designed and executed the refurbishment of an existing GMP facility on the Keele University Science and Business Park site in Staffordshire to enable the client to meet the stringent requirements of a new pharmaceutical project.

The scope of the works included the removal and replacement of ceilings, floors, doors and hatches and the design, supply and installation of heavy duty pass through hatches as well as an electrical interlock system complete with configurable time delay. The new door interlock control system incorporates a red/green traffic light indication, magnetic locks and emergency override switches. CRC supplied and installed worktops and under/over bench cupboards for the refurbished facility. The project also included a bespoke environmental monitoring system.
